This was the session that almost didn’t happen due to mother nature and her sprinkler system that decided to drop buckets full of water all day long and my booked up schedule and the “R’s” were leaving the next day. So with some juggling on everyone’s part, we made it happen and I’m so happy we did, because I have never met two sweeter people in my life. These two are just too cute, sweet and loving for words and I can’t wait to meet their new addition! By the way, is this not the smallest 7th month belly you have ever seen? Can you believe she thinks she is huge? Thanks guys for allowing me to document this special time in your lives and I can’t wait to meet your daughter next summer when you come back to visit.

I love all my sessions no matter who or what I’m shooting, but this session will forever be my favorite. You see this was the very first time I have photographed an actual proposal! When VJ contacted me about this session, I was overcome with emotion. All of us photographers know that men just do not schedule portrait sessions, so when VJ told me what he was planning to do, I was totally amazed to find out that there are still some very romantic guys out there and I just haven’t met them yet.  So VJ and I conspired together and came up with a plan. We met me at Grayton Beach State Park on the hottest day of summer and even with the wind blowing, after 5 minutes we were all melting. Joanna though they were just having beach portraits made and I will let the pictures tell the story of her reaction when she found out what was really happening. VJ and Joanna, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to share in one of the most memorable occasions of your life, I will never forget you guys. Warning, image overload! Enjoy :o )

This little family was such a pleasure to work with. Mom was up for anything and Miss “K” was just a sweetie and Dad even loosened up and got sandy at the end and we managed to shoot a few maternity shots of mom. The beach at Silver Shells was just great to shoot at and we had it almost to ourselves which is always a plus. Enjoy :o )

Walton High School Class of 2011~ Joey

Posted on August 9, 2010

Joey will be a senior this year at WHS and is on the football team. So we started out at the high school stadium and ending at Fort Pickens in Pensacola where it rained all day but I think the raindrops add a unique effect to some of the images. Enjoy :o )

Roesmary Beach Family Portraits in Blue

Posted on August 9, 2010

Here’s an adorable family I had the pleasure of working with on Rosemary beach. Little Miss “C” just stole my heart away with her adorable little smiling tongue! She was teething so every image shows her smiling with her tongue sticking out, LOL.

Frequent Flyers Supporting Destin

Posted on August 9, 2010

I have never been brought to tears before just because someone scheduled a portrait session, but when Debbie contacted me to schedule her session, it was a very bad time here on the Emerald Coast. The week Debbie contacted me, Destin seen it’s first signs from the dreaded oil spill and numerous business on the Emerald Coast started having cancellations coming in everyday. The first week, I had 10 cancellations for beach portraits due to families cancelling their vacations and many more cancellations followed, like I said, it was a bad time for all the local businesses on the beach. But, this beautiful and wonderful family loves Destin and wanted to show their support in the good times and the bad. Debbie told me, “We don’t care if the oil is there or not, we will be and we want family portraits made to remember it.” So I will always hold this family in a special place in my heart because not only did they choose to support our beautiful Destin, but they also chose me as their photographer and helped to support my family during this horrible time. Thank you Debbie and family and I can’t wait to see you guys again on your next trip to Destin.

Seaside Florida Senior Portraits

Posted on August 8, 2010

Miss “D” and her family were visiting Panama City Beach for their summer vacation and contacted me about senior portraits so we meet up at Seaside and toured the area in the rain and managed to get in a few shots between showers. Miss “D” is one of the sweetest, most polite teenagers I have had the pleasure to work with and I wish her all the best for her Senior High School year. I know the future has great plans in store for this young lady.

This has to be one of my favorite families of the year! Why? Not only were they sweet, beautiful, adorable and fun, but they wore COLORS! Now please, don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with wearing the traditional khaki and white or blue jeans and white if that is the look that you want for your portraits. But, I shoot those color schemes everyday so when I have clients that decided to “pop” with color, I get so very excited! Bright vivid colors just look amazing on the beach and the “S” family just made my day with their turquoise and black. Thanks guys for bringing some color back into my life, I had a blast and really hope to see you guys again in the future.
